Hawaii 1986 Sunkist Soda Pop Soft Drink Glass Good by ManHoard

Perfect for juice, milk, Sunkist soda pop or other soft drink, and for collectors of vintage advertising, soft drink products and rare finds from Hawaii. One side of the glass has a humorous image of a big fat white chicken mascot standing above the lettering which reads, "#1 And Just Begun", and states on the glass, "HAWAII 1986" in capital letters. The other side of this great collectible glass is the Official Sunkist "Good Vibrations" logo. According to Wikipedia, the company changed hands and starting in late 1986 until 2008, it was produced by Cadbury Schweppes under license through its Cadbury Schweppes Americas Beverages subsidiary. This glass is a commemoration of the new beginning for Sunkist under a different company, and with permission from Brian Wilson and the Beach Boys to use their classic hit song at the time, "Good Vibrations", in all of their advertising promotions, it put Sunkist on the map for good. Don't know what's up with the chicken mascot, though. Suitable for collectors of vintage advertising, all things Hawaii, soda pop memorabilia or collectible glassware.
