The New Scofield Reference Bible, Holy Bible.
Authorized King James Version.
With introductions, annotations, subject chain references, and such word changes in the text as will help the readers.
Editor: C.I. Scofield, D.D.
New York Oxford University Press.
The cover is in great shape with no cracks and the gold trim is very faded, as seen in the pictures.
There is a little corner wear on the spine and some edge wear.
The binding is still very tight and should last for many more years to come. Pages have indented thumb index tabs for easier reference.
Page marker ribbon is worn but is still attached.
There are 192 pages, with an extra bonus map section in the back featuring "Trans-Vision" transparent overlay maps to see the world as it was in Biblical times vs. modern day locations (modern as of 1967, that is), and shows the "Journeys of St. Paul". The last page in the Bible has a two-page feature telling about the "Achievement and Character of St. Paul".
All pages are complete with no folds, rips or tears.
Book contains a lot of little handwritten study notes, underlined quotes, and small writing in the margins on some pages, from a previous owner, who was obviously a very serious study, judging by appearances.
A name and old address are handwritten on the inside cover page: Mark M. Sutherland, of Kealakekua, Hawaii.
Size: 7-3/4" H x 5-1/4" W x 1-3/4" Thick.
